How our training process works
IWESCO employees are given the necessary training and skills to fulfill their roles competently. Our training programme doubles as a quality improvement practice that allows us to continuously build upon our services and maximise the customer’s value for money. All new employees are given compulsory induction training, irrespective of their job roles or level of entry.
We remain focussed on developing our employees throughout their tenure with IWESCO. This allows us to meet the ever-changing needs and requirements of our clientele. This is achieved through regular in-house training sessions with all staff members. We also run continuous on-site self-improvement training programmes whereby employees are encouraged to assess their own performance on the job and work towards improving their skills and knowledge.
IWESCO also takes part in specialised external courses that are specific to the industries in which we operate. These training courses allow our employees to improve their skills in their specific fields. It also helps IWESCO to become an expert service provider in a number of different sectors, from cleaning and waste control to gardening and pest eradication.

We have developed a comprehensive training manual that is specifically designed to provide information on all aspects of our operations. This manual guides the training of our employees and can be used as a reference guide for the best practices in our various operational sectors.
Our staff members are encouraged to familiarise themselves with this training guide and to use it whenever possible. It helps to keep a level of quality and standard for our services that are expected by our customers. These standards align with national and international guidelines, such as the International Standards Organisation (ISO).
IWESCO holds ISO 9001 certification for quality management systems, as well as an ISO 14001 certification for environmental management. We are also a fully-compliant member of the National Contract Cleaners Association (NCCA). Out training programmes are developed in accordance with these organisations and their respective standards.
